Dear families,

Our children need good stories! It is tragic to me that many stories today no longer move us deeply or change us for the better. I love re-reading The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings because those books always changed me for the better every time I read them.

As I reflected on having my own children someday, I longed to write stories that would change them, as these stories have changed me. This longing for more stories has lead me to write Aria’s Adventures.

Aria is a fun, adventurous redheaded girl who can talk to animals and feel the emotions of other people. Like my future children, Aria will have to learn to manage her emotions. I hope Aria is someone my children will long to imitate - someone fun, courageous, compassionate, and adventurous. And I’m sure they will love her cool superpowers! Aria is exactly what my children will need. And I’m sure Aria’s compassion is what our broken world will need.
